Balance Account
The Law Library does not extend credit. However, any Wyoming attorney, as an officer of the court, may establish a declining balance account to cover the cost of copying by placing a deposit with the Law Library. Accounts are not generally available to the general public. Others wishing to set up an account (e.g. newspaper offices, out of state law firms, etc.) will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the Library Director.
Anyone who maintains an account with the Law Library is under a duty to render a sufficient amount to achieve a positive balance upon notification that the account has been depleted. If steps are not taken to replenish an account within a reasonable time, no further charges will be allowed and library privileges will be suspended until any outstanding debt is paid.
