The Law Library maintains a copying machine.  Anyone may make copies using the machine for a remittance of $.10/page.

Additionally, copies may be printed from the public access computers.  Anyone may make such copies for a remittance of $.15/page (double-sided) or $.10/page (single-sided).

The Law Library does not extend credit.  However, any Wyoming attorney, as an officer of the court, may establish a declining balance account to cover the cost of copying by placing a deposit with the Law Library. Accounts are not universally available to the general public. Others wishing to set up an account (e.g. newspaper offices, out of state law firms, etc.) will be evaluated on a case by case basis by the Law Librarian.

Anyone who maintains an account with the Law Library is under a duty to render a sufficient amount to achieve a positive balance upon notification that the account has been depleted. If steps are not taken to replenish an account within a reasonable time, no further charges will be allowed, steps for collection will be taken, and library privileges will be suspended until any outstanding debt is paid.

The Law Library staff will not do copying for any attorney who has offices in Cheyenne or who is present in the Law Library.  The Law Library staff will make copies for attorneys who practice in Wyoming but outside of the Cheyenne area and find it difficult to travel to the Law Library. The Law Library charges a surcharge of $1.00/item requested and $.10/page copied + the actual postage for this service.  Due to the small size of the Law Library staff, this copy service for out of town patrons is not available to non-attorneys.  All requests by non-attorneys are fulfilled through the interlibrary loan system and it is up to the Librarian's discretion whether to send copies or send the book.  Material will only be mailed during office hours, at the regularly scheduled mail pick-up times, Monday thru Friday.

Photocopying and mailing will be done for no charge for all judges and staff of Wyoming courts.

The Law Library reserves the right to refuse a copying project if it appears that the project would violate copyright law.
